This full-time position is ideal for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a property development business. The successful applicant will bring with them several years of bookkeeping experience, enabling them to seamlessly tackle various financial tasks, including payroll and office admin.
You will be responsible for:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Preparation of month end tasks (journals, reconciliation of ledgers, accruals, prepayments, provisions, file preparation and resolving issues as required);
- Preparation of bank reconciliations
- Preparation of management reporting packs and month-end data analysis
- Assisting with reporting actual results against budget and forecast
- Preparation and lodgement of all statutory compliance obligations including BAS, payroll tax, WorkCover, FBT and other related compliance returns
- Assist with external audit and tax queries and requests
To be successful for the role you will have the following attributes:
- Strong bookkeeping experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting-based roles;
- Completed or in the process of completing CA / CPA, desirable
- High level of attention to detail
