We're partnering with a leading Australian furniture and interiors brand to recruit a Business Development Coordinator on a temporary, part-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and proactive individual who enjoys building relationships, speaking with people, and contributing to business growth. Working closely with an experienced Business Development team, you'll gain hands-on exposure to client engagement, lead generation, sales support, and relationship management.
Whether you've worked in hospitality, retail, customer service, recruitment, sales, or another people-focused environment, we're looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager and supporting the Business Development team, you'll play a key role in engaging clients, generating opportunities, and supporting sales initiatives across the business.
This is a varied role that combines phone-based business development, relationship management, administration, and sales support.
What You'll Be Doing

Contact existing and prospective clients via phone and email

Book appointments and generate opportunities for the Business Development team

Build strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities

Assist with quotes, presentations, and general sales administration

Maintain accurate CRM records and support business development initiatives

Confident communicating with people over the phone and via email

Positive, proactive, and eager to learn

Strong relationship-building and communication skills

Organised with good attention to detail

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, recruitment, administration, or sales is highly regarded
