About the Job
An opportunity is available for a professional, customer service driven  Receptionist  to join the on-site team at a  premium commercial precinct  in  Melbourne’s CBD.

This is a highly visible  front-of-house reception role  at a concierge desk suited to someone who takes pride in presentation, communication and delivering a consistently positive experience for tenants and visitors. You will be a key point of contact within the precinct and play an important role in its day-to-day operation.

About You
This role will suit someone with a strong  reception, front-of-house or customer service background  who understands the expectations of a professional corporate environment. You will value service quality, teamwork and accountability.

About the Role
Reporting to the  Head Concierge,  you will be part of a small on-site team responsible for delivering a high standard of service in a busy corporate environment.

You will act as the  main reception and welcome point  for visitors entering the building, providing clear information, managing access and supporting tenants as required. The role is hands-on and requires a calm, professional approach at all times.

Key Responsibilities
 
  • Welcoming visitors and providing a professional  front-of-house reception experience .
  • Delivering prompt, courteous and personalised service to tenants and visitors.
  • Managing visitor access, passes, bookings and deliveries.
  • Acting as a central reception point of information for the precinct.
  • Responding to queries or issues in a professional and solutions-focused manner.
  • Completing regular lobby walks and maintaining presentation standards.
  • Building positive working relationships with tenants, contractors and internal teams.
  • Promoting precinct facilities and services.
  • Maintaining accurate records and following established procedures.
  • Adhering to security, safety and operational requirements.
  • Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 6:00pm | 2 Breaks 

 

Skills:
  • Experience in a  reception, front desk, concierge, hospitality or corporate front-of-house role .
  • Clear and confident communication skills.
  • High standards of personal presentation.
  • A practical, organised and solutions-focused mindset.
  • The ability to work well within a team while taking ownership of your responsibilities.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Previous concierge or reception experience is helpful but not essential.  Candidates from corporate reception or front desk roles are encouraged to apply , and training and support will be provided for the right person.
