We are partnering with a large, well-established professional services organisation to appoint a Events & Business Development Coordinator to support a high-profile client engagement and events program.
This position supports a busy calendar of professional, community and internal events that play a central role in relationship building and brand growth.
The Opportunity
This is a true end-to-end events role offering exposure from planning and coordination through to on-the-day delivery and post-event follow-up, while working closely with senior leadership and marketing.
The role provides an excellent foundation for someone looking to build a long-term career in events and business development within a stable and values-led organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Event Coordination & Delivery
- Coordinate logistics for client, professional and community events
- Support weekly professional development sessions
- Manage registrations, guest communications and attendee experience
- Liaise with venues, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Prepare run sheets and support on-the-day event delivery
- Assist with large internal events including family days (250+ guests)
- Support community and sporting partnerships and activations
- Work closely with marketing on invitations and event promotions
- Support relationship-building initiatives and client engagement activities
- Maintain strong CRM discipline and accurate data management
- Contribute thoughtful ideas to continually elevate the events program
We are looking for someone organised, proactive and naturally confident in professional environments.
- Experience in events, marketing or administration, including internships
- Comfortable in client-facing and professional settings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- A proactive and thoughtful working style
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- CRM exposure highly regarded
Practicalities
- On-site role based in Oakleigh
- Driver’s licence and own car required
- Some evening events required
