This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with the management team to ensure smooth financial processes, accurate reporting, and compliance. Key Responsibilities:- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Maintain the general ledger and reconcile financial statements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Assist with payroll and project costing, including materials, labour, and subcontractor expenses.
- Assist with audits and contribute to improvements in financial processes and systems, including ERP platforms.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage deadlines effectively, particularly during end-of-month periods, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist with audits and implement improvements to financial processes and systems.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, and a CPA qualification or actively pursuing it.
- Significant practical experience managing month-end accounting, preparing journals, and performing reconciliations.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and integrity.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and support a small, collaborative team.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
