As an HR Advisor, you will take a lead role in managing HR functions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and providing strategic support across performance, capability, and people development. Your responsibilities will include overseeing HR processes, providing expert advice, and working closely with key stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of business strategies. You will play a key role in shaping the organisation's people practices and driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-level HR support to the Chief of Staff, assisting with the achievement of people-related business objectives.
- Lead the implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and individual development plans.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies and procedures, ensuring they align with compliance standards and organisational objectives.
- Identify training needs and design learning opportunities to support employee development.
- Lead HR reporting and analysis, utilising data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to managers on HR processes, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and people strategy.
- Ensure compliance with industrial relations legislation and maintain high standards of HR practice.
- Oversee performance and capability development, with a focus on the annual review process beginning in July 2024.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with people leaders and their teams.
- Lead the facilitation of training programs and initiatives that contribute to a positive and high-performing organisational culture.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in an HR advisory role, preferably within a fast-paced or tech-focused environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (preferably BambooHR) and experience in facilitating in-house training.
- Excellent written communication and influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and support leadership teams.
- Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle, including employee relations and industrial relations.
