About the Role
Reporting to the People & Culture Lead, this broad generalist role combines hands-on HR coordination with strategic projects that shape the future of the business. You’ll manage day-to-day HR operations while partnering with senior leaders to embed scalable people practices and foster a thriving workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding-
Manage full-cycle recruitment through the ATS—from job briefs to onboarding

Deliver engaging induction programs aligned with culture and values

Maintain current position descriptions and employment documentation

Advise on complex employee relations matters including performance plans, coaching, and exits

Coach and support managers on leadership development and performance management
-
Coordinate probation reviews and employee lifecycle check-ins

Lead employee engagement surveys and support action on outcomes

Champion an inclusive, values-driven culture
-
Drive wellbeing initiatives, reward and recognition programs, and internal communications

Assist with designing and delivering learning and development programs
-
Support cadet and graduate programs aligned to competency frameworks

Embed capability matrices to guide development and performance

Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation, NES, Modern Awards, and company policies

Maintain accurate HRIS records and assist with audits
-
Provide HR data reports to support informed decision-making
-
Contribute to workforce planning and organisational design
-
Support continuous improvement and change initiatives
-
Help develop scalable HR frameworks, policies, and systems
-
Stay informed on emerging HR trends including AI and future-focused practices
Experience & Qualifications
-
2–4+ years’ experience in People & Culture, HR Advisor, or HR Officer role
-
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related field
-
Strong knowledge of Fair Work legislation, NES, and Modern Awards

Proven experience managing the full employee lifecycle

Confident coaching managers on leadership, employee relations, and engagement

Experienced with HRIS/ATS systems and HR data reporting
-
Exposure to organisational design, workforce planning, or capability frameworks highly regarded

Experience supporting graduate or leadership development programs is a plus
-
Continuous improvement mindset with interest in progressive HR practices, including AI
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to build trusted relationships at all levels
