About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for a standalone HR Advisor to join a corporate team on a temporary contract (approximately 2–5 months), with an immediate start required, and the potential for extension and future permanency .

This is a broad, hands-on generalist role where you will be the  primary HR contact for the business , supporting both operational HR and OHSEQ requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage  end-to-end recruitment and onboarding  processes
  • Act as the  standalone HR contact  for managers and employees
  • Provide day-to-day  HR advice and support  across the business
  • Coordinate  performance review and remuneration processes
  • Manage  employee relations matters , including investigations, terminations, and offboarding
  • Review and improve  HR policies, procedures, and systems
  • Lead and support  safety initiatives, audits, and wellbeing programs
  • Manage  WorkCover claims and injury management
  • Support and maintain  OHSEQ systems , including training, audits, and incident management
  • Identify and mitigate  workplace risks and hazards
  • Prepare  monthly and quarterly HR reporting
About You:
  • Proven experience in a  HR Advisor or generalist HR role
  • Experience working in a  standalone HR position  is highly desirable
  • Exposure to  OHSEQ / workplace safety  is highly regarded
  • Strong understanding of  employment legislation and safety requirements
  • Confident managing  employee relations matters end-to-end
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships
  • Proactive, organised, and able to  work autonomously
  • A hands-on approach with a focus on  practical outcomes and continuous improvement
