This is a newly created, standalone marketing role and it's a genuinely exciting one. The foundations are strong. The brand is respected. The pipeline is healthy. Now they're ready to elevate.
Working closely with the Directors, you'll own the marketing function end-to-end , from brand stewardship and digital strategy through to bid management , thought leadership and business development support. You'll be handed a freshly developed marketing playbook and trusted to bring it to life.
This isn't a role for someone who needs to be told what to do next. It's for someone who can look at what's in front of them, identify the opportunity, and go after it with sophistication, creativity and commercial intelligence. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the annual marketing strategy in line with the company's growth objectives
- Own and protect the brand across all internal and external touchpoints
- Manage digital channels including the website, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook with an eye on performance, not just presence
- Drive end-to-end bid and tender coordination , including writing compelling narratives, capability statements and executive summaries
- Develop thought leadership content, project case studies and white papers in collaboration with technical staff
- Manage and maintain the CRM platform , ensuring pipeline accuracy and data integrity
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities and keep the business ahead of industry trends
- Coordinate awards submissions and identify speaking and editorial opportunities to elevate the company's profile
- Minimum 5 years' experience in marketing and/or bids, ideally within architecture, engineering, construction, or real estate
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field
- Proven experience managing bid and tender responses with a track record of contributing to wins
- Strong writing skills , you craft copy that is polished, purposeful and on-brand
- CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot or similar)
- Commercial mindset , you understand the business development landscape and know how to nurture opportunity
- Confident using AI tools to find efficiencies in your workflow
- Proficient in Canva, Microsoft Office Suite and PDF editing tools
- You are slick , not flashy. Creative, not chaotic. A trusted custodian of a brand that has earned its reputation.
