About the Role

This is a newly created Team Leader position and a genuine step up for someone who is ready to lead without leaving the game behind. You will split your time between hands-on novated leasing consulting and leading a team of four consultants and two settlement officers, reporting directly to the Head of Sales and Client Relations.

A role is for someone who is optimistic, growth-minded and energised by the opportunity to shape a team that is going somewhere. The business is evolving quickly and they need a leader who moves with it, not against it.

You will manage deal allocation from the team dashboard, mentor and coach your consultants, monitor performance metrics and still hit your own targets. Around 25% of your time will be dedicated to leadership responsibilities, with a corresponding adjustment to your lead allocation.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, support and motivate a team of four novated leasing consultants and two settlement officers
  • Allocate deals across the team based on capacity and desk load
  • Coach and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability, growth and continuous improvement
  • Manage your own pipeline of novated lease enquiries, from consultation through to settlement
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales and Client Relations on reporting, training and sales strategy
  • Monitor team performance metrics and drive results , particularly at month end
  • Stay across industry developments and contribute to process improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records across CRM systems including the company's proprietary platform, Catch-e

What We're Looking For
  • Experience in novated leasing, salary packaging or automotive finance is highly regarded
  • Some leadership or senior consulting experience, with a genuine appetite to grow into the role
  • A positive, solutions-focused mindset , you identify how to move forward, not what is holding you back
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills , able to be both firm and empathetic with a team
  • Energised in a sales-driven environment and motivated by results
  • Familiarity with CRM systems 
  • Open-minded, adaptable and ready to bring fresh energy to an evolving business
