Reporting to the People & Culture Lead, this newly created position offers the best of both worlds: strategic exposure and hands-on influence. You’ll work across the full employee lifecycle—recruitment, onboarding, capability, performance, engagement, and compliance—while contributing to the design of scalable systems that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Lead end-to-end recruitment, partnering with managers to attract and onboard talent
- Manage ATS workflows, employment contracts, and position descriptions
- Deliver induction experiences that reflect the company’s values and standards
- Provide advice on performance management, coaching, and ER matters
- Partner with leaders to build capability and navigate challenges confidently
- Coordinate performance check-ins and lifecycle conversations
- Support the rollout of engagement surveys and actions
- Help drive internal events, wellbeing initiatives, and staff recognition programs
- Champion a culture of clear communication and shared standards
- Assist with the design and coordination of training and graduate programs
- Support the use of capability frameworks across functions
- Track and maintain learning records and feedback loops
- Ensure alignment with Fair Work legislation, Awards, and internal policy
- Maintain HRIS data integrity and support audit requirements
- Provide people analytics and reporting to inform leadership
- Contribute to workforce planning, process improvements, and change initiatives
- Assist in building scalable tools, policies, and systems across HR
- Stay informed on emerging HR trends, including AI and digital tools
- You bring a continuous improvement mindset and a sharp interest in progressive HR practices—including emerging tools like AI
- Degree-qualified in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or a related field
- 2–4+ years in a generalist HR or People & Culture role, ideally in a fast-paced environment
- Confident navigating Fair Work, NES, and Modern Award compliance
- Skilled across the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to performance
- Comfortable coaching managers, managing ER matters, and building leadership capability
- Tech-savvy with HRIS/ATS experience and a data-informed approach
- Clear communicator, natural collaborator, and practical problem-solver
- Background in construction, property, manufacturing or professional services highly regarded
